NIST Traceable Gas Standards
OSHA Compliant Calibration
Hydrogen (H₂) Calibration Gas from SpecGas Inc. is custom blended to exact PPM and PPB specifications using NIST traceable standards. Designed for gas detector calibration, semiconductor manufacturing, fuel cell facilities, and research laboratories, these mixtures feature the SpecGas Stability Guarantee and proprietary cylinder treatment for extended shelf life.

Hydrogen gas is verified using calibrated gas detectors or analyzers cross-referenced against a NIST traceable hydrogen calibration gas standard. The detector or analyzer is exposed to a known concentration of hydrogen calibration gas — at PPM or PPB levels — and the reading is compared to the certified value. Any deviation beyond acceptable limits indicates the instrument requires adjustment or recalibration.
